Advocating for a Sensory Room at Sea-Tac International Airport

Advocacy is just one of the MANY things we do as occupational therapists! Here is my public statement from Tuesday’s Port of Seattle Commission Meeting where I was supporting the addition of a sensory friendly space at Sea-Tac Airport. The results of the Port’s meeting ended with the Commissioners choosing to move forward with a sensory room at the airport by the end of 2020.
